Coronation tree planting near Welshpool

May 2006: Just to the East of Welshpool, a grove of trees commemorate Queen Elizabeth's coronation in 1953. (For non-Brits, 'E II R' means 'Elizabeth 2nd Regina') It was planted in an old iron-age hill fort, now with its own radio masts. The brown trees without leaves are Beech; the rest conifers of some variety.
