August 2005: The steam festival at Hay-on-Wye every year attracts amazing quantities of agricultural machinery with unguarded belts and rotating knives. We call it the 'Clanking Festival of Death Show'. Amazing how any farmers in the 19th century lived long enough to reproduce.
